Gisela (Ruthmann) Majewski of Plano, Texas passed away August 26, 2022, at the age of 78. She was born on September 22, 1943, to Wenzel Ruthmann and Paula (Kipp) Ruthmann in Brackwede, Germany, and grew up in the Catholic faith. Gisela married Werner Majewski on October 18, 1963, in Germany. She was a loving person, who enjoyed playing cards and games with her family. Gisela enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting, and she was a wonderful cook and baker. All her family and friends would agree that she was great at it. Gisela will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

Gisela is survived by her daughters, Gabriele Milheron and husband, Patrick of Allen, Texas, and Tina LoGelfo and husband, Rich of McKinney, Texas, and son Michael Majewski of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Michael, Kristin O’Flaherty and husband, Scott, Jessica Spuckler and husband Alex, Lindsay, Larissa, and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Everly and Lyla O’Flaherty; sister, Karen Erdmann and husband, Jórgen of Bielefeld, Germany, and niece and nephew, Nadja and Jórg Erdmann; sister, Bárbel Heimannsberg of Bielefeld, Germany, and nieces, Tanja Riegler and Sandra Spreng; and children of her late brother, Dieter Ruthmann, nieces, Petra Schráder and Nicole Wolf of Bielefeld, Germany.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Werner Majewski; son, Thomas Majewski; granddaughter, Julia LoGelfo; and brother, Dieter Ruthmann.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
