Gerald Wayne Kozak of Melissa, Texas passed away on October 2, 2021 at the age of 80. He was born on August 4, 1941 to Bolish John and Etta Beatrice (Lambert) Kozakewicz in Washington, D.C. Gerald graduated class of 1958 from Oceanside High School in California. He attended Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia graduating class of 1962. Gerald proudly served his country in the United States Marines from 1961 to 1968. After he was Honorably discharged, Gerald moved around with his family until he found his passion at EDS. He was personally recruited by Mr. Ross Perot. Gerald, known by his friends as “Jerry”, loved golf, football and baseball, especially the Texas Rangers. He started his own recruiting practice, Kozak Associates, where he placed many corporate executives in society. He retired in 2005.
Gerald is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Parks and husband, Matt of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Connor Parks and Kelly Parks, both of McKinney, Texas; brother, James Kozak and wife, Lynne of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
