George Armijo of Blue Ridge, Texas passed away on January 19, 2020 at the age of 54. He was born on June 26, 1965 to Ernesto Armijo, Sr. and Delia (Gomez) Armijo in McKinney, Texas. George graduated from McKinney High School, where he played football. He loved to spend time with his family. They remember his great passion for his work, as a tile contractor. He enjoyed music, dancing, and having a good time.

George is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Gracie Trevino; brothers, Ernesto Armijo, Jr. and Ruben Armijo and wife, Maria; sisters, Estella Arzola and husband, Francisco, Angelita Carmona and husband, Jesus; Raquel Armijo, and Juanita Reyna and husband, Michael; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto and Delia Armijo; brothers, Isadore Armijo and Daniel Armijo.

A funeral mass will be held at   10:30 a.m., January 23, 2020 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 411 Paula Road, McKinney, Texas 75069. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wenesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
