George Vickers Ellice of Frisco, Texas passed away on March 16, 2016 at the age of 63. He was born on May 1, 1952 to Douglas and Adele (Noah) Ellice in New York, New York. George married Debbie Baxavanes on September 15, 1978 in New Haven, Connecticut. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Arts degree. George was in furniture sales for 35 years. He was an Eagle Scout.
George is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Debbie Ellice of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Courtney Ellice; son, David Ellice both of Dallas, Texas; grand dog, Maddie; brother, Douglas Ellice of Los Angeles, California; sister, Helen Lyons of Washington D.C.; cousin, Ed Viele of Dripping Springs, Texas; mother-in-law, Margaret Baxavanes of New Haven, Connecticut; sisters-in-law, Barbara Gettings of Branford, Connecticut, Donna Elkin of Hamden, Connecticut; brother-in-law, Chris Baxavanes of Clinton, Connecticut; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at The Courtyard Marriott, 210 E. Stacy Rd, Allen, Texas 75002. A reception will follow at the hotel.
