Mr. George Scott Schoolcraft, age 63 of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away May 10, 2005 in Dallas, TX. He was born on June 14, 1941 in McKinney, Texas to Wilford A. and Annie Elizabeth (Kendall) Schoolcraft. On December 21, 1958, he married Carol Fairl in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Schoolcraft was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a carpenter and welder for Longhorn Industries. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his wife, Carol Schoolcraft; children, Teresa Stephen and husband, Eddie of Blum, TX, Cynthia Hudson and husband, Jerry of Abbott, TX, René Hammitt and husband, Mark of Fort Worth, TX; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Janie Archer of Chambersville, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Louise Thornberg; and son, Gordon Scott Schoolcraft. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Rev. Russell McDonnell officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in McKinney. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
