Rogers, George George passed away October 7, 2005. He was born December 10, 1929 in Boston, Mass. to Edwin Hugh Rogers and Elizabeth (Webster) Rogers. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph and his son David. He is survived by his wife of almost thirty years, Linda, sister Ginney McCarthy and family, son Richard, daughter Karen, son Chris and daughter Ashley, as well as many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. A veteran of WWII and the Korean War, George retired from the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1969. He then worked at T.I. and retired in 1991. George loved people and everyone loved him. A light has gone out for all of us. Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow at 8520 Main Street in Frisco on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 2:00 PM.
