I just heard of Gayle passing a few weeks ago. She and I grew up together in Alice, Texas where Gayle lived until she was in the 9th Grade. Our parents were good friends and both our fathers were in the oil business in South Texas. We had list touch with Gayle through the years. We all think of Gayle often and at one if our recent girl gatherings I learned that Gayle's granddaughter in Bellaire plays soccer or some sport with the granddaughter of one of the other girls. It was then that she told us of Gayle's passing! We were all so very sad. Such a small world! I have tons of fond memories of Gayle growing up. We were both only children and played together and spent the night with each other very often. Our mothers were in PTA, Garden Club and played bridge together and our dads were great friends! Our families visited each other all the time! I am sad as I am writing and remembering my wonderful friend, Gayle!!!!!! God Bless her and all her loving and grieving family! I know she is very missed. She was a great girl! Kathleen Cawthon, May 6, 2017 Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
