IN LOVING MEMORY

Gary Wayne Fulton

Aug 27 1940 - Apr 04 2026

Gary Wayne Fulton passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, at the age of 85.  He was born on August 27, 1940, to Basco Olen Fulton and Ida Marie (Hudson) Fulton in Ada, Oklahoma.

Gary pursued higher education at East Central University in Ada and continued his spiritual studies at Dallas Christian College. He went on to teach in Texas and New Mexico and preached in Oklahoma, touching countless lives through both education and ministry. Known for his wisdom, patience, and deep compassion, Gary had a remarkable ability to connect with others, always offering a listening ear and words of encouragement.

On August 4, 1967, Gary married the love of his life, the late Marty Constance (Hannum) Fulton, at Four Mile Run Church of Christ in Portsmouth, Ohio. Together they built a life grounded in faith, love, and service.

Beyond his professional and spiritual life, Gary enjoyed acting in community theater, spending time exploring flea markets, collecting political buttons and proudly showing his collection at the Texas State Fair. These passions reflected his curiosity, creativity, and love for people and history.

Gary will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His legacy lives on in their hearts and in the lives of all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Zachary Fulton; daughter-in-law, Renee Fulton; and his two adoring grandchildren, Caleb and Chloe and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marty Fulton, and his parents, Basco Fulton and Ida Fulton.

To honor Gary's life and the impact he made, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
