Gary Michael Stone of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 55. He was born to his beloved parents Jerry and Suzanne (Embry) Stone on November 2, 1969 in Huntington, West Virginia.

Gary was a graduate of Barboursville High School in Barboursville, WV and of Collin College in McKinney, Texas where he completed his degree and certification to become a Respiratory Therapist.

Gary’s unwavering commitment to his profession profoundly impacted the lives of those he served in his community. He was a cherished member of the Baylor Scott and White hospital system, serving both in McKinney and Plano, TX. He was loved and respected by many co-workers that became lifelong friends. 

Gary was a devout Christian and loved being a part of his local Catholic church, St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas where he had his confirmation in 2021. He proudly served our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ which is evident in the way he treated others with a kind smile, gracious laugh and care and concern for all those he met. 

Gary is survived by his daughters that he loved very much, Jessica Stone of Plano, Texas; and Savanah Price and husband, Ben Price of Van Alstyne, Texas; parents, Jerry and Susie Stone; aunt Karen Lockett; cousins Kevin Lockett and Kim Lockett; nephew Luke Stone; and step-nephew Clay Aliff. Gary was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Andrea Stone; uncle, Dean Lockett; grandparents, Jay and Adele McCoy of Huntington, West Virginia; John and Geneva Embry of New Port Richey, Florida; and John D and Virginia Stone of Fayetteville, West Virginia.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/gary-michael-stone.  

The family will receive guests for a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
