Gary Dail Whiteley

Gary Dail Whiteley, age 73, of Celina, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Plano, Texas.  He was born November 23, 1944, in Corydon, Iowa, to Dail and Maxine (Breuer) Whiteley.  On December 5, 1964, he married Connie Wyone Gumm.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army throughout the 60s and early 70s.  He then moved from Iowa to Colorado, and became an ordained Minister in the Assemblies of God.  He continued ministering in the Assemblies after moving from Colorado to Texas, until he was ordained into World Bible Way.  In the mid-90s, he subsequently founded and led the non-denominational organization of churches and ministers known as Light Of Christ Fellowship, International.

Gary is survived by his wife, Connie Whiteley; his sons, Chris Whiteley of Celina, Texas, and Chad Whiteley and his wife, Amy, of Euless, Texas; his grandchildren, Conner, Addison and Cade Whiteley; his parents, Dail and Maxine Whiteley of Corydon, Iowa; his siblings, Ron Whiteley, Donna Amice, Cindy Stewart, and Randy Whiteley; his nieces, Kellie Sinclair, Sarah Peck, and Lorah Arnold; his nephews, Michael Curran, Jason Whiteley, Brad Whiteley, and Matt Whiteley.

The memorial service will be held at Gateway Church, 7125 Legacy Dr., Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday , March 20, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.
