Mrs. G. Marie Donaldson, age 89, of Plano, Texas passed away October 14, 2006, in Plano. She was born August 9, 1917, in Monroe, Louisiana to Charles and Molly Bell (DeNard) Young. On July 30, 1937, she married John Avery Donaldson in Monticello, Arkansas. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi in Pasadena, Texas. Mrs. Donaldson was a sales clerk for Foleys. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plano. She is survived by her children, Ann Watson of Plano, Dawn King and husband, Norman of Austin, Texas and John Donaldson and wife, Pat of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Robin Newman and husband, Rob, Joy Watson, Tamara Hanks and husband, Bryan, Ricky Blasingame and wife, Debbie, Suzanne Dziema, Judith Michalik and husband, Steven and Kevin Winkler; 13 great-great grandchildren and 4 great-great-great grandchildren. Her husband, John Donaldson and son-in-law, John Edwin Watson preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2006, at the First Baptist Church of Plano with Dr. Jerry Carlisle officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
