Fred Iling Huang, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully at 10:49 p.m. on August 29, 2026, at the age of 63.

Fred was born on April 19, 1963, in Taiwan to Liang-Peng Huang and Hsiao-Chia Loh. He grew up in Taiwan and later earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Fred built a successful career with Toyota Motor Corporation, where he dedicated 25 years of his professional life.

In 1990, Fred married the love of his life, Yachuan Chang. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family. Fred was a devoted husband, father, and son whose love and dedication to his family will be deeply missed.

Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Yachuan Huang; sons, Stephen Huang and Jason Huang; daughter-in-law, Josephine Huang; father, Liang-Peng Huang; mother, Hsiao-Chia Loh; sisters, Cindy Chen and Jennie Huang; brothers-in-law, James Chen and Ken Huang; and nieces and nephews, Emily Chen, Eric Chen, and Lauren Huang. He was preceded in death by his son, Stanford Huang. The positive attitude Fred maintained throughout his life continues to inspire his family to see the good in every situation, to face life with optimism, and to appreciate each day. His family continues to learn from his example every day, carrying forward the values and perspective he instilled in them. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Fred’s obituary page by clicking on the following link:   https://celebrationoflife.tv/.   Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive other family members during a visitation on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
