Dr. Frank Martin, age 87, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 7, 2005, in McKinney. He was born February 26, 1918, in Memphis, Texas, to Robert Price and Minnie Ella (Lamb) Martin. In December of 1947 he married Bernice Grundy in Amarillo, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army. Dr. Martin was a dentist, a member of the First Methodist Church in McKinney and a member of the Rotary Club. He is survived by his niece, Betty Avent of Kingston, Oklahoma, and his nephew, Billy Byrd of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. His wife, parents, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 12, 2005, at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Dr. James B. Palmer officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, prior to service, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
