Frank Hope Sartor, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on January 1, 2025, in Plano, Texas. Born on October 1, 1931, in Lambertville, Michigan, to Eugene James Sartor and Juliana Faith Hope, Frank grew up in Toledo, Ohio, where he graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949.
Frank earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Toledo in 1954. That same year, on July 10, he married the love of his life, Angela (Angie) Marie Miller, in Toledo, Ohio. Together, they built a life filled with love, adventure, and family.
A skilled and passionate engineer, Frank was an expert in chemical plant construction and operation and later became a highly-sought chemical and structural engineering consultant. He was known for his ability to fix anything, a talent he proudly passed down to his children and grandchildren.
