Frank R. Klune III, “Bo”, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 55. He was born on May 23, 1971, to Frank R. Klune, Jr. and Ina Hojby (Jensen) Klune in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Bo was a proud graduate of Trinity High School in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area. He continued his education at Emmaus Road Ministry School and pursued undergraduate studies in International Business and Spanish. With a strong commitment to education and professional growth, Bo later earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating summa cum laude in Finance and Economics.
On February 14, 2005, Bo married Jennifer Graves in Kauai, Hawaii. Although their marriage later ended in divorce, they shared an enduring and important bond through their children, who remained at the very center of Bo’s life.
Bo enjoyed a successful career in sales and account management. For 11 years, he worked with Regency Lighting, where he served as Sales Manager for the Southwest Region. Most recently, he had been an Account Manager with Facility Solutions Group for the past two and a half years.
Faith was an important part of Bo’s life. He loved Jesus deeply and was a devoted member of Gateway Church in Frisco. He was also very involved with DFW Singles and Gateway Church Singles, where he valued the fellowship, friendships, and sense of community he found there.
Bo had many interests that brought energy and enjoyment to his life. He was passionate about Formula One racing, golfing, sailing, and shooting sports. He was also a devoted Texas Longhorns fan, and his love for the Longhorns was surpassed only by his love for his Family and, above all, Jesus.
Of all the roles Bo held throughout his life, being a father was among those he treasured most. He was a dedicated and present father who made his children a priority, rarely, if ever, missing one of their sporting events. He took great pride in supporting them and being there for the moments that mattered.
Bo will be remembered as a loving son, devoted father, brother, and cherished friend. His faith, loyalty, enthusiasm for life, and steadfast love for his family will remain with all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
Bo is survived by his two daughters, Abby Klune and Alex Klune; beloved dog, Lucy; sister, Dr. Karina Collentine; father, Frank Klune, Jr. and wife, Nancy; mother, Ina Klune; girlfriend, Stephanie Quinn; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Gateway Church, 7125 Legacy Dr, Frisco, Texas 75034.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that those wishing to honor his memory consider making a contribution to a memorial education fund established for his daughters. Contributions will help support their continued college education and serve as a lasting tribute to his love for them and his hopes for their future.
Bo will be interred at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney at a later date.
