He received many letters of commendation and in recognition oh his exemplary service.

After retirement he worked in the restaurant industry and construction with his son. Frank had an entrepreneurial spirit and tried several small businesses along the way. He loved playing cards, listening to books, carving, sight seeing and being with family.

Frank loved people. He would talk to and befriend anyone and everyone. His wife and kids called him the “friendly puppy”. He had two favorite topics: the gospel and helping people get their VA benefits. He carried boxes of The Book of Mormon in his car and gave them to everyone he talked to. If there is a prize in heaven for giving out books were sure he’ll will it. Everyone loved Frank.
