Francis Prescott Buzzell, Jr. of Dallas, Texas passed away December 17, 2021 at the age of 78. He was born on February 23, 1943 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Francis married Donna Susan Mansell on February 3, 2008 in Hawaii. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Francis was an established real estate developer. He helped to plan and develop the Valley View Mall. Francis held many distinctions in developing and he loved his partners, Rex and Howard Nichols. He was a member of the Corvette Club and President of the Rotary Club. Francis had a passion for helping others and he enjoyed his work with the Parkinson’s Committee. Francis was a man of many talents. He played the guitar with Tommy James and Pete Lucia, both of which are well known in the American Pop Rock industry. Francis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
Francis is survived by his wife, Donna Buzzell of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Porsche Pena and husband, Jessie of Joshua, Texas; grandson, Jason Lucas of Dallas, Texas; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jodee Nicole Sutherland and parents.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2021 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
