Francis A. Malveira of McKinney, Texas passed away November 29, 2012 at the age of 84. He was born October 2, 1928 to Joseph Malveira and Alzira in Woburn, Massachusetts. He married Nancy Hughes on December 31, 1960 in Revere, Massachusetts. Francis served as a Merchant Marine for thirty years and was Deputy Sheriff for ten years with the Suffolk County Sheriff Department. He owned and operated Laurie Gail Inc. Printing Company in Massachusetts before moving to McKinney and residing for the past twenty years.
Francis is survived by his wife Nancy Malveira of McKinney, Texas; children, David Malveira and wife Margo of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Susan G. Malveira McCarthy of Kingston, New Hampshire, Laurie A. Malveira of Denison, Texas; sister, Mary S. Hughes Malveira of Richardson, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ethel Olympia Mosier, John and twin brother Joseph Malveria and Dorothy Malveira Terrell.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with Rev. James Short and Rev. Bobby Hash officiating.
