Frances Geraldine Bise, age 73, of Lucas, Texas, passed away August 19, 2016, in Farmersville, Texas. Frances was born November 26, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas, to William Ross and Frances (Benskin) Query. She grew up in Fort Scott, Kansas, where she attended schools. Frances owned and operated an in-home day care where she influenced and had a tremendous impact on the kids and their parents in a very positive way. Her passion for God and helping others impacted many people in her seventy-three years of life. Frances was an avid reader and an excellent cook.
She is survived by her children, Bruce Eldon Bise of Dallas, Texas, Malinda Bise also of Dallas, Melissa Townsley of Lucas, Texas, and Merlin Bise and wife, Misty, also of Lucas; grandchildren, Tyler Bise of Chandler, Arizona, Lindsey Smith and husband, Elon of Wylie, Texas, Katelyn Scott, also of Chandler, Curtis Bise and wife, Ellie of McKinney, Texas, Erin Townsley of Lucas, Texas, Austin Shelden Bise of Dallas, Texas, Kayla Bise, Kyle Bise, and Eliana Hardman, all of Lucas; great-grandchildren, Jaedyn Smith, Kimberly Bise, Katy Scott, and Taetum Smith; brothers, Bill Query and wife, Arlene of Jay, Oklahoma, Ronnie Query and wife, Marilyn and Randy Query and wife, Jeanette, all of Fort Scott, Kansas; sister, Alta Williams and husband, Ben of Flagstaff, Arizona; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Bruce Bise, and brothers, Leonard Query and Philip Query.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home.
