Frances “Frankie” Hardin of Princeton, Texas passed away November 7, 2019 at the age of 91. She was born on June 6, 1928 to John Johnson and Isla Marie (Sellers) Johnson in Fort Worth, Texas. Frankie married the late Fay Doyle Hardin on January 27, 1946 in Grapevine, Texas. She was a farmer alongside her husband. Frankie was a long-standing member of East Fork Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas.
She is survived by her son, John Hardin and wife, Lucretia of Princeton, Texas; daughter, Diane Stewart and husband, Danny of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Johnston and husband Brent of Portland, Oregon, Daniel Stewart and wife, Sara of McKinney, Texas, Randall Morris and wife, Joell of Princeton, Texas and Vonnie Head and husband, James of Plano, Texas; 16 great-grandchildren; eight great- great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Emma Deen Sims of Sanger, Texas; and many other loving family and friends.
Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, Fay D. Hardin; grandchildren, James Hardin and Christa Ann Hardin; brothers, Johnny Johnson, George Johnson, Ed Johnson, Jim Johnson, Bob Johnson, Carl Johnson, Mark Johnson, Raymond Johnson; and sisters, Tillie Sheets and Dorothy Sankey.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
