Frances Elaine Conner, age 71, of Allen, Texas, passed away December 9, 2011. She was born November 24, 1940, in Henrietta, Texas, to Elmer V. and Aletha (Pennington) Callaway. Frances grew up in Henrietta, Texas where she graduated from high school; she earned a bachelor’s degree from East Texas State University, now known as Texas A&M Commerce. On September 30, 1960, Frances married Fred Dale Conner in Henrietta. She taught school for nine years and was a realtor for over fifteen years. She is survived by her son, Paul Conner and wife Pat of Plano, Texas; granddaughters, Jennifer and Melissa Conner; and sister, Lena Blackerby. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Don Conner. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Friday evening, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
