Florence Hilda Heilbron James of Plano, Texas passed away on November 1, 2021 at the age of 99. She was born on October 4, 1922 to Alfred A. and Virginia (Smith) Heilbron in Cumberland, Maryland. Florence “Dolly” grew up in Pennsylvania, graduating from Eddystone High School in 1940. She married Robert James III on September 26, 1946 in Chester, Pennsylvania. Formerly a resident of Springfield, Pennsylvania, she was a member of the Lownes Free “Blue” Church for over 50 years. She has been a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Plano since 2000. Dolly enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, politics, and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia “Ginger” Oldham and husband, James of Plano, Texas; son, Robert James IV and wife, Diane of Wiakoloa, Hawaii; daughter-in-law, Vera James of Cayce, South Carolina; grandchildren, Brodie Oldham and wife, Lindsey of McKinney, Texas; Zachary Oldham and wife, Ronna of Allen, Texas; great grandchildren, Deacon, Blaine, Ryder, Emory, and Bryer Oldham and niece, Deborah Heilbron Carey of Elkton, MD.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert James III; brother, William S. Heilbron; and son, David S. James.

Burial and a family graveside service will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
