A Poem for My Mother

A little bird told me Mom went to see Jesus today,

He said she was so happy to run and jump and play,

He said her smile was beaming bright

And then he heard her say,

Mom …. and Dad …. I’m so glad to be welcomed home this way!

A little bird told me Jesus hugged my Mom today,

I’m so pleased that she can go and run and jump and play!

I’ll miss her more than ever before waiting for the day.

When she’ll be there to welcome me in her very special way!

A little bird told me Mom went to see Jesus today!
