IN LOVING MEMORY

Felicidad Perez Dennis

Nov 23 1947 - Aug 03 2018

Felicidad “Felicia” Normandia Perez Dennis, 70, of McKinney, Texas entered into eternal rest quietly Friday, August 3, 2018.  She was born November 23, 1947 in Manila Philippines to Mamerto and Vincenta Perez, who have both preceded her in death.  She attended St. Rita College High School in Manila and accepted Christ at an early age.

After High School and working as a hostess, Felicidad met and married Paul S. Manier before traveling to the United States.  To this union of several years, they were blessed with two children they both raised and loved unconditionally, Arlene and Michael Manier.

Felicidad lived her early childhood years with six brothers and three sisters, Judy Perez Ratcliffe, Susan Perez Seno, Alexander Perez, Oscar Perez, Eddie Perez, Peter Perez, Paul Perez, as well as, Roger Perez and Esperonza Perez Asanon, who have both preceded her in death.

As Felicidad began a new chapter of her life with her children, she started working at The Kitchens of Sara Lee where she gave ten years of service and met her husband, James Brooks Dennis, who also preceded her in death on April 26, 2002. Together, Felicidad and James shared a journey of love for twenty-two years with nine beautiful children Arlene Manier, Michael Manier (RaTarsha), James Dennis III (Belinda), Sabrina Beecham, Vanessa Taylor, (Eddie), Galvin Dennis, Marcela Jakes (Willie), Vienna Cochran (Ronald), and Marcus Dennis (Erika).

Felicidad was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and aunt.  She was proud to be a source of love to a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends in the United States of America, Manila, Philippines, and Chibaken, Japan.  She was loved and will be dearly missed by her wonderful grandchildren Brieanna Manier, Deja Williams, and Michael Manier Jr.

Before starting her life in Texas, she lived in Memphis, Tennessee for many years and retired from Sharp Manufacturer.  Felicidad was a caring person with a big heart who blessed many with her hospitality and kindness.  Whether she knew you for several years or five minutes, her wit and great sense of humor lit a spark in everyone’s heart.  She loved her friends and enjoyed traveling, bowling, fishing, trying different foods, and attending church.  She was a member of One Community Church in Plano, Texas and studied her bible faithfully.  One of her greatest accomplishments is when she recently achieved her Certificate of Naturalization to officially become a citizen of the United States of America.

Felicidad “Felicia” Normandia Perez Dennis was a true legend, and her spirit will continue to live in the hearts of all that knew her.  While her passing may have left a void in many hearts, we are thankful to the Lord for granting her a blessed life and us with a lifetime full of loving memories we will cherish forever.

The family of Felicidad “Felicia” would like to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to everyone for all of your love, kindness, support, and prayers.  Whether grand or small every gesture has been a comfort and blessing to our family.

To celebrate the home going of Felicidad, a memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the One Community Church in Plano, 2400 State Highway-121, Plano, Texas 75025.
