Felicia S. Ikhilioju

Felicia S. Ikhilioju, 69, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at her home in Frisco, Texas, from complications following a recent heart attack. She was born July 23, 1950, in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, to Chief & Mrs. Aniretoronwa Okoturo, and was raised by her eldest (and late) brother Alfa A. J. Okoturo. She married Nmieariye Stanley-Ikhilioju of Buguma, Rivers State, Nigeria, and in the 1980s, travelled with her now late husband to the United States, where they eventually made a home in Dallas, Texas, and raised 3 sons and 1 daughter.

She received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Women’s University and went on to work for several years for Head Start of Greater Dallas, and most recently as a public health nutritionist for the City of Dallas’ WIC Nutrition Program.  She was a devoted Christian, an active member and director of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, and an active member of the Agura Iwere Itsekiri Organization.

She is survived and very much missed by immediate and extended family (in the Unites States and abroad), numerous colleagues, and friends.

A visitation will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas, on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held here on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.
