Evelyne Jacqueline Wilk, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on August 2, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, Evelyne spent her life dedicated to her family and community. She resided in Allen, Texas, where she created a warm and loving home for her husband, Michael Wilk, and their children: Jacquelyne, Lawrence, and Allison.
Evelyne was a devoted homemaker who found joy in raising her children and later, her grandchildren, Gregory and Raven. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she actively contributed to her community. Evelyne earned her Associate's Degree at Collin College and was awarded a full scholarship to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Southern Methodist University. Though her true passion was always in her roles as a mother and grandmother. Her interests included cooking and baking, where she generously shared her delicious creations with loved ones.
In her younger years, Evelyne embraced her artistic side through ballet and tap dance, an expression of joy that carried throughout her life. She was also her children's biggest cheerleader, attending every sports event and school activity with unyielding enthusiasm. Her unwavering support and love were a constant source of strength for her family, guiding them through life's challenges and celebrating their every success.
Evelyne is survived by her husband, Michael; her mother, Josepha Fiedler; her father, Manfred Fiedler; her children, Jacquelyne, Lawrence, and Allison; her grandchildren, Gregory and Raven; and her brother, Art Fiedler. In her memory, her family will cherish the vibrant legacy of love and generosity she leaves behind.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 10, 10:00 A.M., at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1515 Greenville Avenue, Allen, Texas 75002.
A celebration of Evelyne’s life will be held at a later date.
