Evelyn ‘Evo’ Wilson Cole, age 90, of McKinney, Texas passed away April 2, 2018 in McKinney, Texas. She was born August 2, 1927 in McKinney, Texas to Add & Pearl Wilson. She worked several years for Murray’s Jewelry & Weight Watchers.
She was a wealth of knowledge of early McKinney where her parents were both also born. Most of all she loved her family and had many friends that she loved very much too. Her mind was sharp and she kept up on all the latest happenings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Addison Wilson Jr. and Tom Wilson and a sister, Fanny.
She was much loved and will be very missed by her three children Cathy Bixby, Kenneth Cole Jr. and wife Paula, and Carol Sullivan all of McKinney; grandchildren Jacqueline Bixby of Palos Verdes, California, Joshua Bixby and wife Nicole of Dallas, Erik Sullivan and wife Amanda, Melanie Berlin and husband Larry of McKinney, Cassey Horner of McKinney and Melinda Hall and husband Eric of Frisco; great grandchildren Jake Bixby of Lewisville, Dylan Sullivan, Ayden Sullivan, Lily Berlin all of McKinney and Parker Bixby of Dallas along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
