Mrs. Eva Modelle Smith, age 98 of Frisco, Texas passed away July 13, 2004 at Victoria Gardens in Allen, Texas. Modelle was born February 11, 1906 in Thornton, Texas to Samuel W. and Lillie (Grammar) Camp. She married Charles Smith on April 20, 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church. Since 1942, Mrs. Smith was active in numerous civic and church activities. Modelle is survived by her nephew, Herbert G. Price of Eugene, Oregon. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles Smith. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas with Rev. Don Yeager officiating. Interment will follow at the Rowlett Cemetery in Plano, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2004 from 6:00-8:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
