I've only known Eva about three years even tho she was a cousin. The first time we met was on the phone and I felt like I'd known her all my life and loved her right away! When we finally met in person I felt the same way and so did the rest of my family that went to Texas to see her. They were my Dad (Bob), Mom (Dorothy), (husband) Bob, (sister) Brenda, (brother) Mark, (son) Rob, and (nephew) Travis. She could hold your attension with her stories and laugh when she'd laugh! Our last visit was cut short as we (Dad, Mom, Bob, and I)got news that a cousin in Ohio (where we live) died suddenly. Eva cried with us and understood we had to leave. This was the first time we met Leonard (Eva's brother). We were so happy to be able to meet him and loved him right of too! She called to make sure we got home safe and this is when my daughter Amanda talked to her. Amanda loved her right off too! Saddly that was the last time we saw Eva. She will be missed! Thank GOD she was a Christian and I can't wait to see her again in Heaven!! Our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry, Leonard, family, and friends!
