Eunice Marie Slough, age 77, of Prosper, Texas, passed away January 21, 2009, in McKinney, Texas. Eunice was born May 15, 1931, in Patrick, Texas, to Clarence Edward and Gwendolyn (Farmer) Fort. She married Bobby Eugene Slough, Sr. on December 21, 1950 in Irving, Texas. Eunice was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son, Bobby Slough and his wife, Rosa of Prosper, Texas; daughters, Debra Wiegman of McKinney, Texas, Vanessa Droigk and her husband, Lynn of Gunter, Texas, and Mary Ann Mitchell also of Prosper; grandchildren, Gene Droigk, Chris, Yell, Johnny Lee Miller, Lloyd Mitchell, Michael Slough, Wesley Nemo, and Gabe Garcia; great-grandchildren, Travis Cole Miller and Zachary Martin; sisters, Eileen Endicott and Nettie Mae Story; brothers, Joe and C.B. Fort; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jay Fort and Ralph Fort, and sister, Patsy Fort. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 23, 2009, at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas.
