Mike and Darla Sessom, November 21, 2021 Gene Helton was my high school principal my junior and senior years. I remember seeing him drive his convertible Thunderbird to school many a time. He was always a gentleman and took time to visit with students he would encounter during the day. I also remember him for a very kind act he did for me. When my father, Jack Faubion, passed away in August of 1983, Ron Poe and Gene drove down to Richardson, to my school campus, to tell me in person of my father's passing. That act of kindness meant a great deal to me as it does now. Thank you Gene for your leadership and being a role model during my time in high school. My thoughts and prayers to all of his family and friends. Joe Faubion, November 21, 2021 What a great Man , This Man did something for me in school I've never forgot. Thank you , Mr, Helton !
