Mr. Ernest Emil Jungblut, age 70, passed away at his home in Plano, Texas. He was born June 30, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Ernest P. and Melanie (Prim) Jungblut. He served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict. He married Harriet Fortney on August 17, 1957 in Pittsburgh. Mr. Jungblut was a comptroller for the Corps of Engineers until his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his daughters, Cindi Brazil and husband, Dwayne of Plano, Texas, Judy Gonzales of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Melanie Kueterman and husband, Tom of Norwalk, Ohio, and Laurie Anderson and husband, Richard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters, Edith Jungblut of Washington, D.C., and Martha Price of Acme, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Zachary Gonzales, Michael Brazil, Jessica Gonzales, Samantha Anderson, Andrew Keuterman, Jack “Jar” Anderson and Alex Anderson.
His parents preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 19, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.
