Linda Caslavka, May 10, 2007 Eric, Big Red as we used to call him, ran around with a pretty tight-knit circle of friends here in Austin, TX, while in college. For the past nine years, we've all been taking semi-yearly camping trips out to Leaky, TX. Eric was part of that with us for several years until he moved away. Those trips were full of some of my favorite memories of Eric...swimming in the chilly El Frio river, drinking beer, relaxing and breathing the fresh air. I know those trips meant a lot to Eric too. Lisa Lambert, May 10, 2007 Eric was one of our dearest friends and was a groomsman in our wedding. I'll never forget the fun times we had just hanging out together, being lazy and watching South Park and That 70's Show. I remember after we saw the South Park when they first introduced the Timmy character he used to love to say my name, "KIMMY!!!" just like the character said "Timmy" in the show. From then on, it was our running joke. I can still hear him saying it now. I'll miss you forever Big Red. Kimberly Suzanne Nowak, May 10, 2007 Although Eric's life came to a tragic end, we're sure that he knew he was loved. All of you have surrounded him with love for so many years. May he rest in peace. Love, Dick and Karen Schrader Eric Benson, May 10, 2007 Our prayers are with you our friends.
