IN LOVING MEMORY

Eric Anton Farkas

Jul 28 1973 - Sep 07 2026

Eric Anton Farkas of Fairview, Texas, passed away much too soon on the morning of Monday, September 7, 2026, at the age of 53.

Born on July 28, 1973, Eric was the son of Tony Farkas and the late Sam Farkas. A graduate of West Point, Eric served as a Captain and Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army. A patriot, a family-first leader, and, most importantly, a man of deep faith, Eric carried his commitment to service and leadership throughout his life.

He spent more than 25 years building a career at 1Finity, where he served as Vice President of Sales, Business Development and Sales Engineering. He was known for his dedication, leadership, and ability to challenge and inspire those around him.

Eric’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his family. He was a devoted husband for 27 years to the love of his life, Rachelle Farkas, and a proud, purpose-driven father to Macee, Joey, Luke, and Faith Farkas.

Eric loved all things outdoors and enjoyed gardening and building things with his hands. One of his most meaningful projects was the treehouse he built for his children, a reflection of the time, care, and love he poured into his family.

Eric will be remembered for his deep connections with family and friends, his unconditional love, and his unwavering commitment to helping others become the best versions of themselves. He surrounded himself with people who challenged him, and he challenged those around him to grow, lead, and live with purpose. His legacy is one of faith, strength, and leadership.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Sam Farkas and his uncle, Hank Santis.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rachelle; his amazing children, Macee, Joey, Luke, and Faith; his father, Tony Farkas; his brother, Kirk Farkas (Shanna); his sister, Kimberly Williams (Rob); his cousins, Derek (Jennifer), Matt (Dana), and Aaron Santis; his aunt, Lorraine Santis; Grandma Sissy; mother-in-law, Jackie Bailey; sister-in-law, Stephanie Mills; father-in-law, Roger Mills (Lisa); brother-in-law, Dustin Mills (Cealy); sister-in-law, Brandi Irwin; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

In keeping with Eric’s wishes, a small private family viewing will be held, followed by a larger service to celebrate his life and the impact he made on those around him.

Though his family grieves his loss, they find comfort in his faith and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Eric’s drive, curiosity, and love for the New York Yankees will live on through his family. His bright light will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Eric’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/eric-anton-farkas.
