Enrique Alejandro Cooks passed away December 30, 2021, in McKinney, Texas at the age of 20. He was born January 14, 2001, to Anthony Phillip Cooks and Yariza Garduno in Davenport, Iowa.
Enrique enjoyed skateboarding, drawing, writing, playing video games, and listening to music. He loved spending time with his sisters Tatiana and Natalia, as well as his friends “The Crew”.
Enrique is survived by his father, Anthony Cooks of McKinney, Texas; mother, Yariza Cooks of McKinney, Texas; sister, Tatiana Cooks of McKinney, Texas; sister, Natalia Garduno of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandparents, Irma Nunez, Devoura Alexander, and Suann Moore, all of Davenport, Iowa; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Cornelius Cooks, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
