Emmanuel Okeke Amazigo

December 30, 1929 - April 2, 2016

Emmanuel Okeke Amazigo was born on December 30, 1929, in Nigeria, and passed away on April 2, 2016 in Plano, Texas. He was 86 years old.

Emmanuel was a loving husband, father, brother and a very generous friend. He was very active in his faith until his death. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beatrice Amazigo of Plano, Texas; Paul (Uloma) Amazigo of Cincinnati Ohio; Esther (Stephen)  Omakun of Lagos, Nigeria; Ruth (Charles) Okpara of Plano Texas; Nathan (Blessing) Amazigo of Houston, TX; Daniel (Linda) Amazigo of Merrillville Indiana; Ezekiel Amazigo of Houston, Texas and Eunice Amazigo of Merillville Indiana; twelve grandchildren; six brothers; two step brothers and four sisters.

Emmanuel is preceded in death by his parents, Amos Nwadike and Nwangbakonkwo Ebele Amazigo, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral program will be on Saturday April 9, 2016 at 1 pm the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses: 1912 Hedgcoxe Rd, Plano TX  75025-2724

On my arrival to New York from Nigeria on January 26th 2017 I made effort to reach my childhood friend , schoolmate and christian brother Paul Amazigo, but to my surprise I learn that Daddy Amazigo passed away in 2016. May Jehovah give the family the heart to bear the loss. The hope of resurrection will keep on encouraging the family till when Jehovah makes all things new.
