Emmanuel Muliku Matombi

We, the family of Emmanuel Muliku Matombi celebrate his 80 years of dynamic living. Emmanuel Muliku Matombi was born on January 15, 1944, in Kipongi village, located in the Masimanimba community, Kibolo sector, in the Kwilu province of Bandundu. He was the last surviving child of his parents, Mr. Mudikusu and Mrs. Matina. He graduated with a degree in Commercial and Financial Sciences from Lovanium, Belgium in 1971. Right after his graduation, He married the love of his life, Marie-Angelique Kagunga Pandikuziku in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He worked at the National Insurance Company (Sonas) from 1972 to 1997, where he was responsible for accounting services at the headquarters. By presidential decree on July 16, 1988, he was appointed Administrative and Financial Director (ADF). In 2000, he joined his wife, Angelique K. Pandikuziku, in the United States, and he retired in 2002.

On October 8, 2024, Emmanuel Muliku Matombi made his transition from this life to his life eternal with our Lord Jesus Christ. We will remember the sound of his laughter , his intentionality when it comes to his reputation, and the sense of responsibility he taught his twelve children: Olivier Matombi, Matina Agathe Matombi Dudley and husband Roy Dudley, Yolande Matombi, Isabelle Matombi and husband Bob Botembo, Patrick Matombi and wife Nifa Kinkela, Nicole Matombi Lomela and husband Gerald Lomela, Eveline Kihema and husband Keddy Diambuana, Gauthier Matombi and wife Andrea Kimbuta, Nancie Ndaya Matombi, Emmanuelle Matombi, Samuella Matombi, Jennifer Matombi and his grandchildren: Olivia Matombi, Hope Matombi, Hallé Dudley, Troy Dudley, Triana Dudley Collins, Jeny Mosso, Anjana Tukuzu, Uma Tukuzu, Jada, Tukuzu, Heaven Matombi, Zahra Botembo, Kemi Botembo, Jacques -Emmanuel Matombi, Annaelle Matombi, Alexandre Matombi, Shammah Ndzana, Dino Lomela, Gérald Lomela, Khevel Diambuana, Angeliyah Matombi, Marcel Matombi, Gauthier Matombi, and Great grandchild Scarlett Massengale . Yes! We will remember his kindness, his ability to help others, his “swag” and his care for us.

He certainly lived his life in full.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/emmanuel-muliku-matombi. The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.

Nous, la famille d’Emmanuel Muliku Matombi, célébrons ses 80 ans de vie dynamique. Emmanuel Muliku Matombi est né le 15 janvier 1944 dans le village de Kipongi, situé dans la communauté de Masimanimba, secteur de Kibolo, dans la province de Kwilu, Bandundu. Il était le dernier survivant de ses parents, M. Mudikusu et Mme Matina. Il a obtenu une licence en sciences commerciales et financières à Lovanium, Belgique, en 1971. Dès la fin de ses études, il a épousé l’amour de sa vie, Marie-Angélique Kagunga Pandikuziku, à Kinshasa, en République Démocratique du Congo.

Il a travaillé à la Société Nationale d’Assurances (Sonas) de 1972 à 1997, où il était responsable des services comptables au siège. Par décret présidentiel du 16 juillet 1988, il a été nommé Administrateur Directeur Financier (ADF). En 2000, il a rejoint son épouse, Angélique K. Pandikuziku, aux États-Unis, et a pris sa retraite en 2002.

Le 8 octobre 2024, Emmanuel Muliku Matombi a fait sa transition de cette vie vers sa vie éternelle avec notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ. Nous nous rappellerons du son de son rire, de son souci constant pour sa réputation et du sens des responsabilités qu’il a inculqué à ses douze enfants : Olivier Matombi, Matina Agathe Matombi Dudley et son mari Roy Dudley, Yolande Matombi, Isabelle Matombi et son mari Bob Botembo, Patrick Matombi et son épouse Nifa Kinkela, Nicole Matombi Lomela et son mari Gerald Lomela, Eveline Kihema et son mari Keddy Diambuana, Gauthier Matombi et son épouse Andrea Kimbuta, Nancie Ndaya Matombi, Emmanuelle Matombi, Samuella Matombi, Jennifer Matombi ; et ses petits-enfants : Olivia Matombi, Hope Matombi, Hallé Dudley, Troy Dudley, Triana Dudley Collins, Jeny Mosso, Anjana Tukuzu, Uma Tukuzu, Jada Tukuzu, Heaven Matombi, Zahra Botembo, Kemi Botembo, Jacques-Emmanuel Matombi, Annaelle Matombi, Alexandre Matombi, Shammah Ndzana, Dino Lomela, Gérald Lomela, Khevel Diambuana, Angeliyah Matombi, Marcel Matombi, Gauthier Matombi ; ainsi que son arrière-petite-fille Scarlett Massengale. Oui ! Nous nous rappellerons de sa gentillesse, de son aptitude à aider les autres, de son « style » et de l’attention qu’il nous portait.

Il a certainement vécu sa vie pleinement.
