Emma Jean Longueville

Emma Jean Longueville, age 81, of Plano, Texas, passed away April 8, 2008, in Plano. She was born July 3, 1926, in Foster, Oklahoma, the daughter of Andrew Jasper and Nola Cavender (Bonifield) Hinkle. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics at Oklahoma A & M University. On June 9, 1951, she married James E. Longueville in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Longueville was a homemaker who was active in the Assistance League of Tulsa, Oklahoma and the homeowners association where she lived. She was a lifetime member of The Church of Christ and member of the McDermott Road Church of Christ in Plano. She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, James; daughter, Jill Longueville Spears and her husband, Johnny of Frisco, Texas; sons, Bud Longueville and his wife, Cynthia of Dallas, and Jeff Longueville of McKinney; grandchildren, Michael, Calvin, Jennifer, Natasha, Nicole, Danielle, Austin and Savanna; and great-grandchild, Isabel Emma. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 12, 2008, at McDermott Road Church of Christ, 3600 McDermott Road, Plano, TX 75025, with Brother Tim Pyles officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM, at Elmore City Cemetery in Elmore City, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends during a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
