Emily Cameron Price, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 49. She was born on April 30, 1975, in McKinney, Texas.
A proud graduate of Prosper High School, Class of 1993, Emily was known for her kindness, steady faith, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. After high school, she met the love of her life, James Fuller Price. They were united in marriage on August 28, 1995, in Denton, Texas, beginning a beautiful partnership that spanned nearly three decades. Together, they raised two wonderful children, who were the light of Emily's life.
Emily was a member of Brookhaven Church of McKinney and had many loving friends and acquaintances that she enjoyed.
She is survived by her husband, James Price of Leonard, Texas; son, Cameron Price of Trenton, Texas; daughter, Laci Price of Leonard, Texas; mother, Charm Cameron of Trenton, Texas; grandmother, Barbara Brackeen of McKinney, Texas; uncle, Gam Cameron and wife, Whitney of McKinney, Texas; aunt, Carrie Cameron of Santa Fe, New Mexico; uncle, Stephen Cameron of Dallas, Texas; mother in law, Rozella Price; sister in law, Latricia Price of McKinney, Texas, and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, William G. “Dub” Cameron; grandfather, Paul Bailey Brackeen and aunt, Cindy Cameron Flowers.
Emily’s passing came just months before that of her beloved husband, James, a testament to the deep bond they shared in life and now in eternity. She and James will both be remembered with love by their children and everyone who knew them.
A funeral service honoring the lives of James and Emily Price will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Pastor David Hawkins, Officiating.
Following the service, an interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park, where James will be laid to rest beside Emily.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
