Mrs. Emily Washington Brady, age 57, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 6, 2006, in McKinney, Texas. She was born November 16, 1948, in Convent, Louisiana to Walter Jackson and Elizabeth Washington. Mrs. Brady was self-employed as a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children Elisha of New Orleans, LA, Derick of Houston, TX, Lekiva of San Antonio, TX, Sherman of Houston, TX and Elizabeth of McKinney, TX; eight grandchildren; two nieces; and godchild Diane Duhon. Her mother, son and brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. before the service.
