Elliott Andrew Berryhill

Elliott Andrew Berryhill, age 74, of The Colony, Texas, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021.  He was born on September 21, 1946, in Bonham, Texas, to Grace and Clyde Berryhill.  He enjoyed a childhood shared with his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.  Elliott married the love of  his life, Brenda Blair, in Bailey, Texas, on March 16, 1968.

Elliott was a hard worker all his life.  He enjoyed long standing jobs at Otis Engineering and later, 21 years at Aviall.  He enjoyed working with the church, and was an active member of the Church of Christ.

Elliott had many hobbies through the years.  He loved woodworking.  He made countless sets of dominos, home décor, furniture and holiday displays.  He loved working with his hands.  Upon retirement, Elliott discovered his love of cooking.  He soon discovered his passion for baking, and would bake at every opportunity.

Elliott enjoyed spending time with his daughter and son-in-law.  He was especially proud of his six grandchildren and all that they have accomplished.  He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Elliott is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Berryhill; his daughter, Joann Morrison and her husband, Scot, of The Colony, Texas; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Landry, Makenzie, Taitum, Jesse and Gianna Morrison; his sister, Alice Franklin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Grace Wright; his father, Clyde Berryhill; and his brother, Paul Berryhill.

A visitation will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held here on Monday, July 19, 2021, beginning at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Mr. Seth McDowell.  Interment at Leonard Cemetery in Leonard, Texas.
