Elizabeth Randolph Gray Owens, a resident of Princeton, Texas, peacefully passed away on February 24, 2024. She was born on September 22, 1946, in Jasper, Alabama, she was the cherished daughter of Lecil Dean Gray, Jr. and Alice (Smith) Gray.

Elizabeth's journey was marked by a commitment to excellence and creativity. She graduated from Tuscaloosa High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Her passion for design led her to continue her studies abroad at Parsons School of Design in Paris. She become an esteemed residential and commercial designer in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex; she was an extremely active member of the American Society of Interior Design. Elizabeth's dedication extended beyond design as she also expanded her knowledge into real estate and became a residential realtor in the Dallas area.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Elizabeth found joy in artistic expression through watercolor painting and drawing. She enjoyed gardening and was a leader amongst the gardening club in her community. She was a proud member of the University of Alabama Alumni and Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, embodying the spirit of her alma mater. An avid Alabama football fan, she cheered on her team with unwavering enthusiasm.

Faith was a cornerstone of Elizabeth's life, and she was a devoted member of St. Michael’s and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas. Her kindness, generosity, and steadfast devotion to her community endeared her to all who knew her.

Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy of creativity, kindness, and love. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her son, Lecil Owens and wife, Kim of Brownsboro, Texas; daughter, Alice Sporich and husband, Tanner of Trenton, Texas; grandchildren, Copper, Rhett and Ty; and a host of other loving family members and cherished friends.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lecil Dean Gray, III.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Saint Michaels & All Angels Episcopal Church, 8011 Douglas Avenue At Colgate, Dallas TX 75225.
