Elizabeth Kathleen Abrams, age 20, of Plano, Texas, passed away September 18, 2014. Elizabeth was born February 10, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois, to Glenn and Patricia Ann (Cornwall) Abrams. Elizabeth graduated from Plano East Senior High School where she was an accomplished student-athlete. Lizzie completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma program as was a co-captain on the Varsity swimming team. Elizabeth was a student pursuing a business degree at The University of Texas in Austin, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She loved family and friends, travel, country music, and was an aspiring cook. Lizzie was strong and independent, but also patient, gentle, and kind. She had a talent for bringing out the best in others. Lizzie brought joy and happiness to all of the lives she touched, and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her father, Glenn Abrams of Plano, Texas; brothers, Ryan Abrams and wife, Edmee of Madison, Wisconsin and Robert Abrams of Bangkok, Thailand; aunts, Susan Fee and husband, Mike of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Katie Sachs of Denver, Colorado; and uncles, Rick Cornwall and wife, Nancie of Hermitage, Pennsylvania and Ben Abrams and wife, Patricia of Hooksett, New Hampshire.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Abrams and grandparents, Norman and Marian Cornwall and Helen Daniels.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano, Texas. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2014, at the church.
