Elias Galvan, age 25, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 30, 2004, in Dallas, Texas. He was born July 19, 1979, in Marion, Indiana to Roberto and Diamantina (Villarreal) Galvan. He moved with his family to McKinney in 1980, where he played football for McKinney High School, graduating in 1998. Following high school, he attended International Business School. Elias was a well-known musician and was a member of the Mactown Mexico Band. He worked as a bartender for Applebee’s in McKinney. He was also a member of the River of Life Church in Princeton, Texas. Elias was known for making the people around him happy, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Roberto and Diamantina Galvan of McKinney; sister, Rebecca Galvan and husband, Jason Williams of Melissa, Texas; Robby Galvan and wife, Rachael of Gun Barrel City, Texas; nephews and nieces, Daniel and Christian Galvan, Riley Curtis and Bethanie Galvan; grandparents, Chris and Margarita Villarreal; great-grandmother, Santo Villarreal; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel Galvan, Sr. and Maria Galvan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Bro. J.D. Montelongo officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
