Mr. Eli Baxter, age 21, of Prosper, Texas, passed away January 14, 2006, in Prosper. He was born December 25, 1984, in Plano, Texas, to David Edwin and Misty (Davis) Baxter. He attended Prosper and Frisco High Schools where he was a member of the FFA and the football team. He was a farmer and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Prosper. Eli will always be remembered for his big heart and bear hugs. He is survived by his mother, Misty Morris and her husband, Keith of Frisco, Texas; father, David Baxter of Prosper, Texas; sisters, Leslie Davis of Frisco and Sharla Baxter of Prosper; grandparents, David and Margo Baxter of Prosper, and Ray and Dorothy Davis of Frisco; aunt and uncle, Melody and Danny Banner of Prosper; uncle and aunt, Barry and Antoinette Davis of Dallas; aunt, Sheila Storey of Frisco; uncle and aunt, Jackie and Alta Davis of Frisco; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at the First Presbyterian Church in Prosper with Rev. John Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 6:30 to 9:00 P.M., Monday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
