Mrs. Edwina Collins Cook passed away at home in Blue Ridge, Texas at the age of 76. She was born on September 9, 1947, in Dallas, Texas to Charles Edwin Collins and Virginia Jane (Smith) Collins.
She spent most of her life in Wylie, Texas until she moved to Blue Ridge in 2000. She was co-owner on Wylie Butane along with various other employment. Her favorite was being on the farm with her family showing cattle with her grandchildren. She was very proud of the wedding venue, The Hidden Jewel, that she built in 2019 on the farm.
Edwina and Bruce were married on December 18, 1987, in Wylie, Texas.
Edwina is survived by her son J.C. Feagins & Michele Cochran, and daughter April Feagins & William Delgadillo Sr. She had two step daughters, Andrea Cook and Lara Feagins. She is also survived by her grandchildren Clay Feagins & Kaleigh Best, Tyler Young, Ross Feagins & Ally Marshall, Reyna Delgadillo, Zane & Tori Delgadillo, William Jr. Delgadillo, Autumn Delgadillo, and Madison Mitchell. As well as her great grandchildren Haisleigh Feagins, and Maizie Feagins. Sister, Charlene & David Dew, niece Jennifer Dacey, and nephew Chance Crouch.
She is preceded in death by her husband D. Bruce Cook & granddaughter Layne Virginia Young, and her parents Ed and Virginia Collins.
A visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home. The Funeral Service is Monday, June 10, 2024, at 10:00AM at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery. Lunch will be served following burial at The Hidden Jewel in Blue Ridge, Texas.
