Edwin Fred Ball

April 30, 1937 - March 22, 2019

Edwin Fred Ball of Allen, Texas went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2019 at the age of 81, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on April 30, 1937 to John Phillip “J.P.” and Johanna Mary (Sonntag) Ball in Cleburne, Texas.  Fred grew up in Houston and moved to Frisco where he graduated from Frisco High School in 1955.  He married Betty Sue Angel on September 20, 1957 in Dallas, Texas.  Fred was an office manager and bookkeeper for Zelrich Steel Company and Excel/THM. He later worked 21 years for Emergency Animal Clinic of Dallas before his retirement.  He enjoyed going to car auctions and buying and selling cars.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Sue Ball; children, Bobby Ball and wife, Tracy and Linda Kyle and husband, Randall all of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Brendan Ball, Caley Ball, Michael Britt, Justin Britt and wife, Brittany, Christopher Britt, Preston Kyle and Parker Kyle and wife, Mersades; great-granddaughters, Blakely Britt, Adalynne Kyle and Isabelle Kyle; sister, Margie Evans of Pearland, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his granddaughter, Kristin Ball.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
