Known to most as Ed, he was a strong man with a kind heart. No person or pet would ever go hungry if he had anything to do with it. Ed spent his life putting others first, often providing a warm meal, a job, and even a place to sleep to those in need. He would literally give the last dollar in his pocket if he felt it might be of some help to someone down on their luck. He was a true hero to so many. The impact of his kindness reached far and beyond the lucky individuals that were blessed enough to call him “Dad” or “Papa”.
Second only to his wife and family, Ed’s biggest love was fishing. It was on the water where he felt most at peace. The two most joyful words he would ever utter were “Fish On”!
A Remembrance Gathering will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Tuesday, July 25 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Private Inurnment will be held at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas with full honors.
