Edward H. Wolfe of Plano, Texas, passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 80.
Edward was born on July 10, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Meyer Wolfe and Florence Merin. He pursued higher education with dedication, completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and later graduating from the University of New York at Albany with an MBA.
Edward proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart. He completed his enlistment on the DMZ in Korea. He carried his sense of duty and resilience throughout his life, always placing great importance on family. Those who knew Edward will remember him most for his deep love and devotion to his loved ones.
He started his career at IBM in New York. He worked at several companies, some as CEO. He developed and owned several patents and founded Innvision Networks, LLC.
Edward lived many years in Houston and was very active in Temple Emanuel.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Wolfe; his son, Eric Wolfe and his wife, Patty, of Driftwood, Texas; and his cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Austin, and Alex.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Susan Wolfe.
Edward Wolfe will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, generosity and his love for his family. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers (T2T.org) or to a charity of your choice to honor his life.
