Dear Edgar, My good friend; life has come to an end much too early for you. No words will ever describe the sorrow Brenda and I feel at this moment. When I look back at our friendship I always wonder where time went. One day we are street racing and wasting time at the shop shooting the breeze without a worry in the world, the next we are married with kids without even enough time to look at racing on TV. My only regret is not making more time for us to get together more often. I guess life just got in the way; but what I loved about us is that no matter if we did not speak for months we could always touch base and feel as we just spoke yesterday. Saying you will be missed is so cliche; but extremely on point, you are and will always be a fantastic friend, wonderful husband and father but most importantly a great man! I will remember you as you always were, one of the most calm and collected individuals I ever had the honor of calling my friend, you were always there and Brenda and I will never forget you. Caro amico non mi vado dimenticare mai di te, Dio ti benedica e ti tenga. Wonderful Naomi, Edgar Jr. and Sophia, My deepest condolences; nothing will ever replace the great man you have lost; but be assured he is our newest guardian angel and he will look over us all from above and keep us safe. In many ways he is still here and one day we will all be reunited again. Please know Brenda and I will always be around; and don’t ever hesitate to reach out, we would love to make up for time lost and make sure we cherish the time we have been blessed with. In these sad times the strength to keep on going and eventually move on, can at times come from the most unexpected places. Much Love, God Bless you all. I am deeply sadden of the loss of Edgar. I watched all the Rubalcava boys grow up living across the street from us and being best friend {s} to my son. I have so many fond memories of Raul, Edgar, Christian, Tony, Myrella and Raul Sr. We were sad to see them move to Wylie, however we still kept in touch. Even though we were friends we were more like family. Edgar is on his journey home to meet our maker where he will no longer feel pain. The ones that are left here are the ones in pain. It will not be easy, however remember all the good memories of Edgar and hopefully that will give y'all some peace. May GOD wrap his arms around the family as they go through this difficult time. My prayers for all of the family!!! Love y'all!!! Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Arlene Pedroza-Gonzalez, September 10, 2021 My deepest condolences and sympathies goes out to the wife, children and family of Edgar. This saddens me about this and can’t ask and question why to our Heavenly Father, but I just know that he’s in a better place than I am looking down telling me that he’s ok and things will be ok. Edgar, his father and brothers I have known for years. I met them in the construction field in 2004 and have been with them to this day. So it’s definitely a friendship to me that I personally have with him and them all. The Rubalcava Family will “ALWAYS” continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!
